Copy object Inventor Products Autodesk Knowledge Network
Pretty basic concept. I have a large object, and only want a sub-section of said object. In PS I would just use rectangle tool to select the area I want and click copy, however in Illustrator I don't see this same type of functionality.... For example, you can create a flower by drawing one petal, setting its reference point at the base of the petal, and repeatedly rotating at incremental angles, simultaneously duplicating to leave behind a new copy of the petal at each angle.

Try copy.copy or copy.deepcopy for the general case. Not all objects can be copied, but most can. import copy newobj = copy.copy(oldobj) # shallow copy newobj = copy.deepcopy(oldobj) # deep (recursive) copy... Use Copy Object to create repair body. You can use copy object to create a base body and then create a new repair body. In a part file that contains features, click 3D Model tab Modify panel Copy Object.
Make exact copy or Clone of a Java Bean Object.
One reason to not do so has already been mentioned: You would not be able to specify whether to make a deep copy or a shallow copy, hence the suggestion to create two separate methods to do so. There is another, more insidious reason though - "object slicing".... Use Copy Object to create repair body. You can use copy object to create a base body and then create a new repair body. 4/06/2007 · Hi! I have a table in my Access 2003 db containing OLE Object field with Word Document. What i want to do is to open an unbound copy of Document in MSWord application so the source in the table will remain intact and changes made to the Document will not be saved in the db.... Pretty basic concept. I have a large object, and only want a sub-section of said object. In PS I would just use rectangle tool to select the area I want and click copy, however in Illustrator I don't see this same type of functionality.

How To Make A Copy Of An Object
This may actually be more of a c# related question, but here goes - How can I create a copy of an object? Say for example I have the following object:
- dbForge Fusion for SQL Server provides the Duplicate Object feature. You can make the exact copy of a database object in the same or another database of the same server instance.
- Creates a deep copy of source, which should be an object or an array. If no destination is supplied, a copy of the object or array is created. If a destination is provided, all of its elements (for arrays) or properties (for objects) are deleted and then all elements/properties from the source are copied to it.
- One reason to not do so has already been mentioned: You would not be able to specify whether to make a deep copy or a shallow copy, hence the suggestion to create two separate methods to do so. There is another, more insidious reason though - "object slicing".
- When making a copy of an object, you can either make a shallow copy or a deep copy. As opposed to a shallow copy, a deep copy is one in which a copy is made not only of the top-level object, but of all the objects referenced by the original object.
